Founding rates
These rates are for my first five bookings in each service, confirmed by 31 March 2027.
Weddings

- Founding rates
- These rates are for my first five bookings in each service, confirmed by 31 March 2027 for shoots up to 31 December 2027.
- Deposit
- A 30% deposit secures your date. The balance is due 14 days before a wedding, or within 7 days of invoice for other shoots.
- Travel
- I travel all over the North and South Islands. Travel within 40 km of central Christchurch is included; beyond that it’s 90c per km. For travel that involves flights and rental cars, rates will need to be discussed case-by-case.
Questions
Why are your prices lower than other Christchurch photographers?
I’ve photographed weddings since 2013 and events since 2010, and I’m now taking bookings as a Christchurch business. Founding rates help me build local reviews quickly. The photos in the galleries are the standard you’ll get.
Do I need to add GST?
No. No GST is charged, so the price you see is the price you pay.
Who owns the photos?
I keep the copyright and you get a licence to use your photos: personal use for weddings, portraits and prints, and business use for headshots, events, concerts and promo. Under New Zealand law, whoever commissions photos owns the copyright unless agreed otherwise, so this is set out in writing when you book. The full wording is in the booking terms.
Can you keep our photos private?
Yes. Tell me when you book and none of your photos will appear in my portfolio or on social media. There’s no extra fee.
Do you provide RAW files?
No. Editing is part of how the photos look, so you receive finished, high-resolution files.
What happens if you’re sick on the day?
I’ll arrange a photographer I trust to cover. If that isn’t possible, you get a full refund of everything you’ve paid.
How far ahead should I book?
Summer wedding Saturdays often book 6–12 months out. Portraits and headshots usually need a week or two. For gigs, get in touch as soon as the date is locked in.
